Park Colonial

Park Colonial takes its inspiration from the quaint but stately estate of nearby Woodleigh Park, one of Singapore’s preserved colonial quarters established in the last century.
As iconic as the architecture is the setting around the quarters – a well-shaded garden of grand raintrees and palm trees over a ground-scape of manicured bushes, basic lawn grass, tarmac and gravel.
Here in Park Colonial, the clubhouse is the crown jewel of our tranquil development. Taking after the form and space of colonial villas and statehouses, we offer a contemporary interpretation of the functionality and timelessness of tropical colonial design

At 9 meters high, the Colonial Club has a uniquely high ceiling enclosed with the rhythmic bays of a modern colonnade layered over windows in Venetian screens. This lofty foyer frames not just the garden views outside, but allows for the entry of daylight and its play of shadows against the façade screens.
From the heart of the development, begins the odyssey of the landscape features. Flanking Colonial Club is the 50-meter long cantilevered lap pool, a geometric plateau of water that overhangs bravely out onto the undulating and sweeping contours of landscape below, offering a stunning view of the islands of water, trees and lawn in the horizon.

From the formal structures meant to celebrate the splendour of old, we contrast it with the character of the landscape – thoughtfully sequenced between features and sensuously experiential for every member of the family. Sensuous journeys have offered through our palette of lawn decks on one end and dense vegetation against the sound of rushing water on the other.

The experience of time and day passing through the evolving of the landscape, much as how we revel in the nostalgia of the colonial era, is celebrated here in the spirit of adventure.
